I have always admired people with foresight, not paranormal but people who can tell what is going to happen next, next week or next month, and are obviously accurate. For some reason these people understand the dynamics of certain situations or tasks. Highly experienced people, specialist workers or people with an extraordinary analytical mind are up to these tasks.

What if we could democratize that ? What if we could look ahead in time for specific things or situations ? What if we could anticipate earlier, what is most likely to happen next ? And what are we going to do with that knowledge ? Are we then going to change or adapt our faith ?

Science tells us that we, humans, are very good at pattern recognition, learning and adapting to what we have learned and being creative or out of the box. To foresee very well the brain needs to be consistent, highly focused, and absolutely rational. It needs to process very large amounts of data quickly, see the big picture whilst remembering the details. All things a brain is bad at. But a major added value in life.

I believe that we will be able to democratize this special human skill for the benefit of all. Enabling a huge positive change on many elements in life.

1. The company

Global ecosystems are under pressure. I believe that positively affecting the future of humanity is the moral priority of our time. The most meaningful impact can come from dedicating our resources to developing technologies.

We have seen clear evidence that this era will be all about enhanced intelligence and the development of novel (artificial) human-like capabilities. We believe that with the invention and rise of AI, we are going to need specialized capabilities like foresight (forecast is an example) which eventually we can combine with more general skills like language. We believe a key ability is foresight. A skill performed by humans on a daily basis, but also a key skill for specialists, which requires expert knowledge.

2. Hence the vision: foresight.

This makes our company relevant in both the short and the long term. Since the more we develop this skill, the more products can be built, and the more industries will be enabled to be optimized.

While our goal is to build a large time series model which is extraordinarily good at foreseeing, our strategy is to start with a specific industry, namely retail; one of the hardest ones to crack. The AI model (ForecastGPT-2.5) directly enables applications, like inventory management automation. This way our company can drive revenue, push the limitations of the tech, and solve real life, time series problems for the greater cause.

3. The present

Many businesses are facing increasing difficulties as costs continue to rise while productivity remains unchanged, resulting in reduced profits. The solution ? Raising prices. This causes an ever rolling inflation which in the end will not be sustainable. The more advanced a society the higher the cost living. This is not sustainable.

We are facing a significant shortage of skilled labor (4 out of 5 employers struggle to fill vacancies) amidst increasing dissatisfaction in combination with an increasing number of employees feeling a lack of purpose (50% of workers are feeling stressed).

While economic growth is the key pillar for a thriving society, we are burning down our planet. The economic growth comes with a pitfall of more and more carbon footprint. Advanced societies tend to be more positive in terms of sustainability but they also don’t want to lose too much comfort.
